Through our Quantum Walling System development, standard traditional light steel frames continue to play an important role in addressing key features including elevation alignment, build tolerance absorption, deflection and building movement.
This development led to the design of a new interface for the stud to head track junction, which by design also brings future proofing benefits for the dry lining sector - and especially on tall building projects.
Irrespective of your steel manufacturer's profiles, there are two LSF connectors available for different performance requirements in new build and legacy retrofit scenarios.
OmniLink
OmniLink-Q
The MotionFrame LSF connector range includes the OmniLink and OmniLink-Q systems.
Both components have been developed to work with major manufacturers profiles to future proof and enhance sustainability of their LSF system solutions and deliver omnidirectional performance to previously constrained stud to head track interfaces.

OmniLink LSF connectors are delivered to site in volume ready for simple insertion into your manufacturers project dimensioned LSF C profile stud sections. The stud assemblies are then locked into the same horizontal C Profile which replaces the conventional U channel head track.

Tall building construction can deploy the OmniLink-Q LSF connector to accommodate omnidirectional displacement and mitigate the risk of associated noise generated through stiction.
MotionFrame testing has submitted traditional LSF junctions to anticipated and accentuated movement investigation.
Examples of which can be seen and heard below.

onsite LSF fabrication at a critical junction
Simple insertion into project specified LSF stud lengths
OmniLink-Q delivers fire perfomance and quiet contact for tall building projects
